Smartech Electrical is a full service electrical contractor serving residential, agricultural and light commercial customers on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and beyond. Our Master Electrician, Victor Shepard has 35 plus years of experience. He has surrounded himself with a team that is dependable, reliable, and thrives on creating the ultimate, custom wiring experience.

Our vision is to help people understand the full benefits of future electric and all that is available today.

Smartech Electrical is truly a family-run business. Each officer has a wife that is involved in the business. Susie, Victor’s wife, is involved with invoicing and receivables, Tori, Matt’s wife, is involved with the financials and Marian, Richard’s wife, is involved with the marketing.

Victor Shepard

Victor is a Master Electrician with 35 plus years of electrical experience. He always strives to deliver the best experience and show each customer the unlimited possibilities that the electrical industry has to offer.
He is well versed in all phases of residential and light commercial wiring as well as Lighting design and Lighting / Home automation.
Victor and his wife Susie have lived and worked in Kent County, Maryland for 36 plus years. He enjoys spending time with his Grandchildren, children and friends, and being on the Chesapeake Bay, water sports and volunteering at his church.

Richard Stoltzfus

Vice President
Richard has 30 plus years of business experience and has made it his mission to make sure that his customers are completely satisfied when the job is done. He really listens and works with each customer until he understands what they really want. He is a man who loves people and shows that care and attention to everyone he meets. Richard and his family reside in Queen Anne’s County, Maryland. He very much enjoys family time, his children’s sports, games, hunting, running, exercising, family gatherings, friends and church.

Matthew Troyer

Treasurer
Matt has 25 plus years of business experience. He always strives to give his customers the best results by delivering an honest opinion along with taking the time to explain the process of what needs to be done. Matt likes to go above and beyond to put the customer at ease and get the job done right. He and his family also reside in Queen Anne’s County, Maryland. Matt enjoys spending time with his family, church, friends, basketball, football and watching his children play sports.
